Mobile, Ala. -- Counter to a rumor making the rounds via e-mail, a pair of women selling books in the Mobile area have nothing to do with burglaries in the city, police said in an news release. According to a string of e-mails that started circulating last week, a blond woman with a European accent had been going door to door selling books as an excuse to case houses for burglary. Sgt.
