Resource Shelf posted a link to a Hewlett Packard Labs’s paper. Great find. You can download the HP write up here (verified at 7 pm Eastern) on September 5, 2008. The paper argues that an HP innovation can process text at the rate of 100 megabytes per second per processor core. That’s quite fast.
