We just put up a Rails2 image running OpenSolaris on EC2. This is the real deal, Rails2, Ruby with DTrace support, Thin, Git, Mongrel, Mongrel cluster, sample SMF scripts and configured for a sample Rails application, OpenSolaris with ZFS on the root disk, MySQL, and Postgres.
