    @cwroblew: No, grep doesn't look into compressed files. Uncompress them and pipe them into grep. gunzip -c logfile.Z |grep -F 217.17.254. The -c option in gunzip makes gzip send the uncompressed data to standard

    There is also the sense of status that can play into things as well. Some items have higher prices and customers accept this as the item is supposed to be "rare" in the world, e.g. diamonds but also boutique computers
