Gasoline prices hit $5.60/gallon....in Japan, in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Kerosene is about $3.80/gallon. I don't know if this is true and I never tested it, but I have been told that you can out kerosene into a diesel car's fuel tank and it will run just fine, even better.
