Things are not looking up for Chicago Tribune employees. In an effort to pay down its $13 million dollar debt Gerald Spector , the company's chief administration office issued a memo to staff saying that the company needed to trim its $3.5 million annual shopping bill at OfficeMax and requesting that employees "reduce their supply purchases and to economize on travel."
